Abstract
Homosexuality has been dealt with in a variety of scientific ways, especially in various psychoanalytic explanations. But, while much attention have been given to male homosexuals, relatively less attention to female homosexuals. This unfairness of scientific attraction has been attributed to the prejudiced attitude of phallus-centered culture and society toward female homosexuality.
The authors experienced an overt female homosexual who visited psychiatric clinic with the complaint of conversion symptom. In terms of psychodynamics, she was thought that she had so called "pathogenic early family experiences" throughout her early childhood, which was the result of a cross-binding between intimacy toward mother (such as "symbiotic attachment") and hostility toward father.
